Apple

The apple is round and wider in the middle

It is firm to hold, but not to twiddle

Quite oblique and not very square

Not unlike a pear

Full of 360° angles from top to bottom

Best picked come autumn

Take one large bite and chew chew chew

You can become quite oblique too

But if you take bites in turn

With nibbles and a heartfelt yearn

As knowledge is what you have sought

Your obliques will become rather taught

And the words you say will be true

Coming freely from inside you
