Shades of Colour

When designing for people who see

The colour spectrum differently

It is best to test your interface

To see how well it can visually interlace

Test the contrast of light and dark

It is best to not miss the mark

By checking the image in grey scale

You can see if it will pass or fail

There is a wide range of colours on the spectrum

So it can be difficult to make a hard and fast rule of thumb

But you can play it rather safe this way

If everything makes sense in grey

So even someone with no colour vision

Will not struggle with selection decision

At the same time, you can still fill your interface with colour

Just make sure in grey it is not a bother.
